About Tiny Seeds For A Bright Future
The PURPOSE of this organization is to provide resources & support for ANYONE who loves someone with Autism or is an awesome person who is on the Spectrum. For this, we have created a community of parents, educators and individuals who want to share and care with each other.
We want to provide Autism educators and professionals with tools that increase their classroom effectiveness & learning techniques; and parents & students the tools that will increase the quality of life at home. This community is a place where readers, teachers and parents can come together and share their favorite resources and secrets.
Through it’s projects, individuals and families can receive information on a broad range of topics including:
Advocacy related to specific diagnosis for:
Peer to Peer Counseling
It is our mission is to provide resources and support, whether it be legal guidance, emotional support or information, for those people living on the spectrum and their families. This is a place where needs are assessed, resources are provided and dreams are realized. The ultimate goal of self-sufficiency.
Tiny Seeds For A Bright Future is a Non-Profit organization, founded in April of 2008. The program was founded by an ASD parent for ASD parents and individuals of the Autism community. Since we are also an online presence, we can serve families throughout the United States. We provide advocacy, training, information, referrals, and outreach education to families and persons on the spectrum.
About Katherine Goodsell- She started writing books and social stories for teen and adult beginning readers with ASD/LD to fill a much needed void. Her goal is to increase the number of high-interest, low-literacy stories for struggling readers to enjoy and increase their literacy abilities. She is also working on a Beginner's Guide to Autism for Parents which has already be contracted by a publisher. Updates on the progress will be announced here.
